sinhui, for you. another day spent doing nothing. sort of. anyways, just found out he's gg for 51St =/ nvm, already told my cousin i'm giving him up. i refuse to wait till god knows when cos he's just plainly uninterested. nvm, hope SP got better guys. lolx. shall blog abt ytd. hmmms, went for milk gathering. then met garfy and my cousin for dinner at marina. hopped over to candy empire for me to buy candy! (: see, this is another reason why i have to lose weight. went home to uh... talk to kiku? started on another novel last night. a compilation of some of my fav authors! nice nice. went to queensway today. finally added smth for my poly wardrobe: KAPPA jacket! and it even has 'ENGLAND' over it which is also my fav World Cup team. so i'm a happy girl despite the jacket setting me back $70. i blew my 1st pay literally la k. sheesh. went ikea to get some ideas for my new room. my bro and i like this table that cost 300+ each. think my dad will blow. shit la,i just hope when i move into my new home,i get my privacy. which is sorta impossible knowing my MOTHER. why do mothers always seem to ruin everything for you? think i'm gonna be broke for quite awhile cost KH's gg taiwan next week. gonna get her to buy a whole load of stuff back for me. if anyone reading this have spare cash, kindly donate it to me or smth. LOL. shall go and watch 'gong'. it's just so bloody nice! dang, smth just popped into my mind. i have bloody dental tmr. another 3 days of utter pain for me. my dentist told me last month that i maybe able to take off my braces in 6 mths or later. which would mean...5 or more months. WHINES. 5 or more dumb months of stupid rubber bands that mysteriously disappear and reappear in my room. so i digress. anyways, hope pltn/classmates have a fun 1st/normal day at sch in their new/current jc tmr. i still have to wait till april! boo :( oh yah,an extract from ABCDEFG:
My, my. Chanced upon something rather.. intriguing today. Somebody's been slamming Crescent CLTs :( We shall all call him S, shall we? :) Anyway, S complained about the alleged injustice in assignation of responsibilities to various cadet lieutenants for the upcoming NCC Affirmation Ceremony. He claimed that those in places of power weren't doing their part; they weren't attending meetings, and "they hardly make an appearance in HQ." Apparently, even Samantha was seen "only once in ncc open house..." Does S truly believe himself to be omnipotent? Or has he (horrors!) taken up permanent residence in Amoy Quee Camp? How brazen of him to make such a claim, when I know for a fact that Samantha Kwan returned to NCC HQ on 29 January 2006 to fulfil an obligation to edit the NCC newsletter.
S even lamented the apparent lack of commitment present in Crescent CLTs. He even suggested that they return their ranks and devote their time completely to studying. One feels compelled to bring to the Honourable Mr. S's attention, that all the CLTs he ranted about had been posted to junior colleges for the PAE (reputable ones, may I add), and while they were at school trying their very best to suss out friends from foe and adjusting to the demands of JC life, he was cocooned within his comfort zone of NCC and his friends.Of course he had time for NCC. NCC lists "Care for Fellow Cadets" as one of the core values that its cadets should adhere to. O, great, great S, where hath thine Care for Fellow Cadets gone? Shame on you for taking advantage of their new obligations to cast yourself in a better light. You could have volunteered them your help, but you chose to sneer and declare yourself a better person than them. NCC places much emphasis on the importance of teamwork; why are you critiquing your team members instead of helping them? Clearly, the past four years of life in NCC has not done much to correct your skewed perception of team spirit.
And before I end this little tirade of mine, I'd like to add that unlike S, Samantha, Kenny, and the rest of the Crescent CLTs were successful in juggling the management of their respective NCC units, as well as preparations for the then impending O-Level Examinations. If S were truly keen to "get Kenny off the high seat" he should prove himself. I have no doubt that the DC awards CLTs their appointments based on their ability to balance their lives in areas of academia as well as CCA.From the line "The West 50th regulars... are on the verge to get those irregulars out of ncc.. " we have, at least, a partial idea of why S did not make it to the "high seat." Great leaders have clear minds; something S is definitely missing. Cerebrally challenged, one might say. Vacuous, even.
